Vecih Yılmaz was appointed as the General Manager of Akçansa, a joint venture of Sabancı Holding and Heidelberg Materials, effective as of 1 December 2022.

Vecih Yılmaz, who has many years of experience in our Group and has realised many successful works and projects, is taking over as General Manager. Vecih Yılmaz graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Business Administration in 2005 and simultaneously completed a minor programme in Political Science and Public Administration at the same university. In 2012, he completed his master’s degree in Financial Economics at Galatasaray University. Yılmaz started his professional career as an auditor at Deloitte in 2005 and joined the Sabancı Group in 2009, serving as Financial Planning, Analysis and Investor Relations Manager at Sabancı Holding between 2009-2013 and Financial Control and Risk Manager at Enerjisa Enerji between 2013-2015. Between 2015 and 2017, he worked as CFO at Assan Panel and Financial Affairs Director at Kibar Holding, respectively. In 2017, Yılmaz re-joined Sabancı Group and was appointed as Finance Director at Sabancı Holding between June 2017 and April 2019, and also served as a Board Member at Kordsa and Yünsa. Vecih Yılmaz had been serving as Assistant General Manager of Finance and Accounting at Çimsa since April 2019.
