Akçansa shares were first offered to the public on Borsa Istanbul in 1996 under the symbol ‘AKCNS’. The shares of the company, which continue to be traded on the Borsa Istanbul Yıldız Market, are 39.72% owned by Hacı Ömer Sabancı Holding A.Ş., 39.72% owned by Heidelberg Materials, and the remaining 20.56% is publicly traded.

Some of Akçansa’s publicly traded shares are owned by foreign investors (13%), while the remaining portion is owned by over 10,000 local individual and institutional investors. As of the end of 2022, our Company is included in Borsa Istanbul (BIST) Industry, BIST 100, BIST Yıldız, BIST Istanbul, BIST-Taş, Toprak, BIST Participation 100 and BIST Participation indices as well as BIST Dividend and BIST Dividend Participation All indices as a result of its regular dividend payment policy.

As a result of its sustainability-focused efforts and initiatives, Akçansa increased its score on the Refinitiv platform and started to be included in the BIST Sustainability and BIST Sustainability Participation indices.
