Akçansa Port, renowned for its dependable port services handling all types of cargo and domestic Ro-Ro vessels, is expanding its global service range with the establishment of strategic collaborations.

Akçansa Port has signed an agreement with Grimaldi Group, one of the world’s leading companies in Ro-Ro operations, to provide the group with international Ro-Ro services.

Under this agreement, Akçansa Port has launched a twice-weekly Ro-Ro service from Ambarlı Port to Italy’s Port of Trieste, making it the only port on Türkiye’s European side to offer this international service.

Akçansa Port, known for delivering high-quality and efficient solutions in its port operations, has expanded its offerings to include international Ro-Ro services.

Egekont, Grimaldi Group’s representative in Türkiye which operates under Arkas Holding, commenced this Ro-Ro service from İstanbul’s Ambarlı Port to Italy’s Port of Trieste on September 14th as part of the strategic partnership with Akçansa Port. Initially, this service from Türkiye will be conducted twice a week using the group’s environmentally friendly hybrid vessels, which offer significant ease in freight transportation due to their large capacities.
