Akçansa, the first company in its sector to publish a sustainability report and announcing its 2030 sustainability journey with the principle of ‘Responsible work for the future’, pursues its activities with a life cycle perspective.

ASTM C150 Type I/II Portland cement, which the company has been exporting abroad from Çanakkale port for many years, now has the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Certificate issued by The International EPD System.

Commenting on the issue, Akçansa General Manager M. Zeki Kanadıkırık said; “As Türkiye’s leading building materials company, we focus on creating a positive impact for all our stakeholders with the innovative works we realise while creating value for the Turkish economy in the regions where we are located within the scope of our sustainability targets. It is one of our top priorities to design our future journey from here. In this context, we share the environmental impacts of our ASTM C150 Type I/II cement product, which we have been exporting abroad for many years, throughout its entire life cycle in a transparent and comparable manner with the EPD certificate.
