Akçansa has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2023. The company’s total sales reached 3 billion TL in the said period.

Akçansa announced its consolidated income statement as of 31 March 2023 and financial results for the period. According to the statement made by the company, Akçansa’s sales amounted to TL 3 billion in the first quarter of the year, while EBITDA was TL 646.1 million in the first quarter of 2023. Commenting on the subject, Akçansa General Manager Vecih Yılmaz said that in addition to their successful financial journey, they are pleased to realise important works in their sustainability goals extending to 2030. Yılmaz continued; “In the first quarter, we continued our efforts to meet the demand in the domestic market and played an active role in meeting the increasing need by directing approximately 70% of our total sales volume to the domestic market. Effective management of our costs and risks also had a positive impact on our financial results. However, as Akçansa, we act with the principle of ‘working responsibly for the future’. In our entire ecosystem, we implement activities that support our sustainability goals and create a positive environmental and social impact. In 2022, we increased our CDP Supplier Relationship Rating (SER) score from B- to A- and moved to the leadership category in the scoring classification. In addition, we published our first Integrated Annual Report, which is a multidimensional assessment of our financial and non-financial performance in 2022, in line with global reporting standards. We will continue to work for a sustainable future and create value for our country and our people”.
