Akçansa’s first-half sales revenue totalled TL 3.3 billion
Akçansa announced its financial results for the first half of 2022. In the said period, the company’s sales revenues reached TL 3,284 million, while EBITDA stood at TL 538 million.
On the other hand, Akçansa’s export revenues increased by 148 percent in TL terms in the January-June period.
Türkiye’s leading construction materials company Akçansa announced its first half financial results for 2022.
Accordingly, the company’s sales revenue in the first half of the year was 3,284 million TL. Continuing its success in exports, Akçansa increased its export revenues by 148 per cent in TL terms in the first six months of the year and demonstrated its strength in this field.
Akçansa takes strong steps towards a sustainable future
Commenting on the issue, Akçansa General Manager M. Zeki Kanadıkırık said: “Within the scope of our 2030 Sustainability Goals, we are working for a more sustainable future and carrying out value-creating activities around the understanding that ‘Akçansa’s path passes through the future’. In addition, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint with the low-carbon products we develop, and we focus on the efficient use of resources by turning to alternative fuels and raw materials. As a company that takes responsibility to minimise the impacts of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we have joined the Climate Target Acceleration Programme led by the UN Global Compact in order to progress faster on the emission targets we have set and to strengthen our climate strategy”. Stating that they give priority to positively touching the lives of their stakeholders with the social activities they implement, Kanadıkırık said: “In all regions where we operate, we see it as our primary duty to work towards the needs of all segments of society with the understanding of ‘being a good neighbour’. Accordingly, we restarted the ‘My Neighbourhood’ project in Çanakkale and provided awareness training to 1000 children. In addition, we came together with the students of Samsun Ladik Akpınar Science High School within the scope of our ‘My Profession, Your Choice’ project and shared our experiences. We will continue our social projects that will increase the value we create for the people of the region with our Büyükçekmece Plant, which celebrates its 55th anniversary this year.”
