Akçansa has achieved a significant milestone in the aggregates sector by continuing its substantial efforts to enhance resource efficiency. 

The company’s Bursa Aggregates Facility successfully completed an independent audit conducted by the Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association Quality Assurance System and was awarded the Platinum-Level Responsible Sourcing Certification by the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC). 

With this noteworthy achievement, Akçansa’s Bursa Aggregates Facility became the first and only facility in Türkiye to receive a Platinum-level CSC certification in the aggregates sector and one of only 12 facilities worldwide to earn this distinction.

Focusing on creating wide-ranging positive impacts, from reducing environmental impact to generating social benefits, Akçansa continues to earn recognition for its efforts under the Agregasa brand.

The company’s Bursa Aggregates Facility successfully completed an independent audit and earned the Platinum CSC certification from the Concrete Sustainability Council. Thus, Akçansa’s Bursa Facility became the first and only aggregates facility in Türkiye to receive Platinum CSC certification and one of only 12 facilities worldwide to achieve this level of certification.

The certification awarded by the Concrete Sustainability Council stands out as the highest recognition for sustainable production.
