WinterMix

It is a special product developed by Betonsa for casting concrete in cold air. It helps to protect the concrete against frost when the light frost effect continues throughout the day and sudden temperature drops are possible. Preventing the loss of strength of concrete in winter conditions, WinterMix saves time by shortening the moulding time.

When Is WinterMix Used?

• When the slight frost effect persists

• When frost is expected during the night

• When there is a possibility of sudden temperature drop

• When the weather is cold, according to TS 1248 Standard

• When the average air temperature for 3 days is below <5ºC degrees, or

• Days when the air temperature does not rise above 10 degrees for 12 hours within 1 day

• it is considered cold weather and precautions should be taken

Increases resistance to frost.
Does not contain chloride.
Does not damage equipment.
It accelerates the achievement of 4 MPa strength, which is the first concrete strength limit required for frost resistance, and increases early strength.

It saves time by shortening the moulding time.
