‘Türkiye Sustainable Future Awards’ Held for the First Time at the 32nd Quality Congress
Akçansa wins the Grand Award for Sustainability
Akçansa, a joint venture of Sabancı Holding and Heidelberg Materials, achieved significant success at the first-ever ‘Türkiye Sustainable Future Awards,’ organized by the Turkish Society for Quality (KalDer) this year.
The company earned the grand award after completing field evaluations in the Governance, Planet, People, and Prosperity categories based on the Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics shared by the World Economic Forum in 2020.
Focused on creating broad, positive impacts ranging from reducing environmental impact to generating social benefits, Akçansa continues to earn recognition for its significant achievements.
Held for the 32nd time under the theme ‘Like Water,’ the Quality Congress recognized organizations contributing towards achieving a sustainable future during an awards ceremony on November 21. Akçansa, having successfully completed the field assessments, was awarded the grand award at this year’s inaugural Türkiye Sustainable Future Awards.
