“Information source” of ready-mixed concrete industry, Akçansa Concrete Symposium now in İzmir…
Akçansa reached the professionals and academists of İzmir with a new Concrete Symposiumı… Concrete Symposium organized by leader Turkish cement and concrete producer Akçansa throughout the year in various cities, broughy the professional and academists of the industry this time in İzmir with the contributions of Bekaert in 9 Eylül University, Sabancı Cultural Center.
Lighting the way for ready-mixed concrete industry, Concrete Symposium contributed to the industry with information exchange on subjects such as how to produce the concrete and issues to attend in application in İzmir on February 3rd.
Considering that our country is located on a seismic belt, design, material selection, material inspection and showing maximum care for installation and craftsmanship from the mandatory stages for a durable building bear vital importance. Therefore, ready-mixed concrete is the ‘cornerstone’ of healthy and reliable buildings.
On the other hand, Durability according to a certain service lifetime is important for sustainable structuring as well as resistance, economy, functionality and aesthetics. In other words, the new trend in design is based on service lifetime. Therefore the use of ready-mixed concrete is a subject that must be discussed and developed continously. Leader company of Turkish cement and concrete industry, Akçansa aims to shed a light to the sector by organizing various symposiums in various citites.
Organized by Akçansa in various cities troughout the year, Concrete Symposium has brought the professionals and academists of İzmir this time. Subjects such as components, design and production and quality inspection of concrete were discussed in the seminar held on Wednesday, February 3rd between 13:00 – 18:00 in 9 Eylül University Sabancı Cultural Center.
Subjects such as cement production and standards, durability of concrete, design based on service lifetime and performance were also shared with the participant.
