Akçansa’s turnover for 2015 aggregates to TL 1,5 billion
Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey, announced the financial results of the financial year of 2015. Accordingly, the sales revenue of the company for the year 2015 has realized as TL 1 billion 469 million, and the profit for the period as TL 283 million.
The company’s total turnover for the last year has neared to TL 1,5 billion, according to the consolidated income statement issued as of December 31, 2015, as well as the financial results of the period announced by Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey. While the company’s sales revenue is announced as TL 1 billion 469 million, the gross profit is realized as TL 428,5 million, and profit for the period as TL 283 million.
Akçansa General Manager Umut Zenar said, “As significant consumption points particularly for our main market, Marmara Region, the mega projects such as the Eurasia Tunnel, 3rd Bridge, 3rd Airport, HEPP projects, metro projects etc. had a positive effect on the domestic demand for our industry. We started to see the effects of Urban Transformation during 2015, and we are also seeing much positive effects on our industry for the next 3 years. On the other hand, we have overcome the possible risks in our markets by shifting our direction to new markets. We gained important and permanent markets in the world last year, with the contribution of our foreign partner HeidelbergCement; we have become the biggest supplier in Turkey for the US market with our high added value we produce, and with our effective loading and service performance.”
