Launched by Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey, with TOÇEV, My Neighborhood Project attracts a great deal of interest.  The trainings provided to the students and parents in the mobile education center, which is specially designed for My Neighborhood Project, have reached out to 2 thousand people within such a short period of time of 2 months.

We are doing our best for a society consisted of families raising happy children. We want and wish to further develop our project and extend it to cities other than Istanbul.”

During the first half of 2016, trainings are being provided on different topics within the scope of “My Neighborhood” social responsibility project to the children at the age group of 6-12 and to the parents in 68 schools located in Istanbul Büyükçekmece District.

Launched by Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey, with the target of a more livable world and prioritizing the social happiness, My Neighborhood Project continues with a great deal of interest.  It’s been targeted to reach out to approximately 10 thousand people until the end of the education year of 2016 within the scope of the project.

“My Neighborhood” Project aims contributing to the development of parents and children, generating solutions for the problems encountered by the students and for parental skills through a specialist staff, and raising healthy individuals.

Special training programs have been created for the children and parents within the scope of “My Neighborhood” project. With the training programs prepared by TOÇEV’s expert educators and covering the trainings for the children at the age group of 6-12 and parents, the parents are learning about the details related to raising children, while the children are learning how they can communicate better with their surrounding in their social lives through trainings they are taking in separate groups. Designed for the project, the mobile education center will travel 68 schools in the district one by one until the end of the year.
