Akçansa gathered professionals, academicians and students of Bursa together in the last Concrete Symposium of the year. The symposium was held at Uludağ University under the sponsorship of Akçansa.

Bursa was the last stop of Concrete Symposium being organized by Akçansa in various cities. Flashing the ready mixed concrete sector, the Concrete Symposium gathered the academicians, students and professionals of Bursa together at Uludağ University.

The speakers, including Akçansa Ready Mixed Concrete and Aggregate General Manager Assistant Mr. Özgür Bek, Akçansa Eastern Marmara Ready Mixed Concrete Regional Manager Mr. Hakan Susup and Akçansa Ready Mixed Concrete and Aggregate Marketing and Customized Products Director Mr. İsmail Gökalp; informed the participators on the critical topics such as the method for manufacturing concrete, the issues to be taken into consideration in practice and the supervision of the quality.

Speaking during the symposium having a contribution in the improvement of the sector, Akçansa Ready Mixed Concrete and Aggregate General Manager Assistant Mr. Özgür Bek said, “The concrete is the building block of the construction. We must talk on the durability as we do on the esthetic. Particularly, when we consider that our country is located on the seismic belt, the importance of the concrete increases. The most important investment of the families is a house; the highest budget is provided for this. While constructing such a valuable investment, we believe that the brand of the concrete must be interrogated. The application of the concrete carries the same importance with the production. During the symposium, general information as well as information on the quality supervision in concrete, durability and service life, fiber concrete and customized concrete practices have been conveyed to the participators.
