During the opening speech at the summit, Akçansa General Manager Mr. Mehmet Hacıkamiloğlu said that Akçansa is a company recognizing B2B marketing as a “person to person” relation rather than “company to company”. Mr. Hacıkamiloğlu added, “It’s not possible to comply with the new trends in a world where the digital reforms are happening quickly. It’s not possible for the companies to stand without following up the new consumer perception, increasing and renewing marketing channels and social media. Today, the companies further require suppliers who understand them, speak the same language, solve the faced challenges together and perform innovations.”
Through emphasizing that the relation entered by the large-sized companies with the suppliers has transformed into a strategic partnership from an ordinary trade relation, Mr. Hacıkamiloğlu said: “We know that this period is the period of the suppliers who integrate with the customers in their business processes beyond the price competition and develop insight and add value through living with them. However, it is inevitable for everyone to be successful if they establish “person to person” relation touching the “people”.”
Making a presentation after Mr. Mehmet Hacıkamiloğlu, the Technology and Trend Editor Mr. M. Serdar Kuzuloğlu emphasized the importance of the presence and availability in the correct channels for the brands in addition to being compatible with the innovations. Mr. Kuzuloğlu also momentously underlined that the entities must develop communication strategy through well interpreting the data in their hands. And Fütürist / M-Gen Dijital Ajans Chairman Mr. Ufuk Tarhan made a presentation stating the importance of understanding and interpreting the future and emphasized that from now on, person to person relation rather than B2B or B2C in the marketing is fundamental.

“We have carried the recent years’ popular term innovation to the cement sector. However, we didn’t consider this only as product innovation. But also we renewed ourselves by means of process and service innovations. As Akçansa, we will continue to be in the front plan with our branded and awarding products. “
“Dynamics of the B2B world revolutionized”
And the Brand Consultant Mr. Temel Aksoy said, “As the number of the companies that manufacture the same product increases in each day and the digital reform enters in our life rapidly, the accessibility of information by everyone got easier, the prices got lower and so the profitability dropped. And this revolutionized all dynamics of B2B world. Therefore, we are now in a period that the companies must do many best at the same time to provide competition superiority.”
Taking the word during the panel, Shell Turkey Country Head Mr. Ahmet Erdem said; “Energy is a sector focusing on B2B. It’s important to do what we do in a better way, to offer better service and to benefit from technology to be different. By means of technology, we have the chance to identify the requirements of the customers and offer customized service.”
Schneider Electric General Manager Mr. Bora Tuncer added; “It’s important to observe urbanization in the energy sector. As the urbanization increases, the energy consumption also increases. There is a strategy on sustainability and carbon emission. The sustainability will also change the B2B and B2C relations.”
