Akçansa‘s 9-month sales revenue resulted as TL 875,3 million
Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey, announced that its sales revenue for the third quarter of the year 2013 is TL 875,3 million. Profit for the period of the company realized as TL 120,2 million.
Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey operating under the partnership of Sabancı Holding and HeidelbergCement, announced the financial results of the third quarter of 2013 to the public.
Accordingly, the turnover of the company as of September 30, 2013 has been TL 875,3 million. Profit before tax of the ongoing activities has realized as TL 147,4 million, while the profit for the period has realized as TL 120,2 million.
Gürdal: “We grow in line with our plans”
Akçansa General Manager Hakan Gürdal stated that they maintain their growth as of the third quarter of the year in line with their annual forecasts and plans. Gürdal said, “The construction industry has revived within the scope of the increasing infrastructure and public investments in our country, and this positively contributes to our business. Particularly the Asian side metro and 3rd bridge developed in Istanbul in the Marmara Region are the projects that we consider importance most. Designed as the second highest of Europe and the longest reinforced concrete bridge of Turkey, we produced special concrete and cement for the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge to be constructed in Istanbul. The demands are not only coming from the housing constructions. As Akçansa, we have a balanced portfolio due to the increasing infrastructure and investment projects.“
