Women’s Day Seminar at Akçansa My Neighborhood
“About Women” (Kadına Dair) seminar on the occasion of March 8 International Women’s Day was organized within the scope of the My Neighborhood project of Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey, launched in cooperation with Samsun-Ladik District National Education Directorate and TOÇEV.
Mayor Nurhan Yapıcı Özel, District National Education Director Aykan Sancı, Akçansa Ladik Plant Manager Devrim Özgür Demir, female employees of Akçansa, TOÇEV officials, parents and teachers attended the seminar held at Ladik 100. Yıl Secondary School.
“About Women” (Kadına Dair) seminar was organized within the scope of My Neighborhood project, which was launched with the cooperation of Akçansa, Samsun-Ladik District National Education Directorate and Tuvana Education Foundation for Children (TOÇEV) for contributing to the development of the parents and the children, generating solutions to the problems encountered at home and school, and raising future generations as healthier individuals. In the seminar, expert psychologists of the Tuvana Education Foundation for Children discussed being a woman in society, being a mother, and gender equality.
