COMPENSATION
Compensation system of unionized personnel is governed by a collective labor agreement signed between the trade unions of the employees and the employers.

The compensation system of white-collar employees is arranged by taking into account the job evaluation results and market data. The compensation system has essentially been designed so as to be just, to promote competition, to award high performance and be correlated with the overall compensation level of the country.

GENERAL EMPLOYEE POLICIES
Compensation Policy
12 salaries plus 4 bonuses - each bonus amounting to one salary - are paid annually at Akçansa. Compensation adjustments are made twice yearly (January-July).

Working Hours /Overtime
Working hours are 08:30-17:30 at the Head Office on 5 days of the week. Working order in our plants and Ready Mixed Concrete Facilities is arranged in shifts; for administrative staff it has been designated as 08:00 – 17:30. Overtime work may be organized whenever work necessitates it, subject to the decision of the Company management.
Annual Leave Policy
Employees are entitled to paid annual leave one year after their recruitment. The annual leave periods of the employees within the scope of the Collective Labor Agreement are: 20 work days for 1-4 years; 25 work days for 5-14 years; 30 work days for 15 years and up. The annual leave periods of the employees outside the scope of the Collective Labor Agreement are: 18 work days for 1-5 years; 24 work days for 6-15 years; 28 work days 15 years and up.
Clothing
Casual clothing policy is implemented in our Head Office on Fridays.
