Akçansa's first quarter sales revenue resulted as TL 388 million
Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey, announced the financial results for the first quarter of 2018. Accordingly, the sales revenue of the company for the first quarter has realized as 387.6 million TL, and the profit for the period as 41.7 million TL.
The company's total turnover for the first quarter of the year is 387.6 million TL, according to the consolidated income statement issued as of March 31, 2018, as well as the financial results for the period announced by Akçansa, the leader construction materials company of Turkey. The gross profit of the company for the period of January-March 2018 is announced as 69.8 million TL, while the profit for the period is announced as 41.7 million TL.
Solution partner of mega projects
Stating that they focus on developing the special products and services needed by the market and the mega projects during the recent years, Akçansa General Manager Şahap Sarıer said, "After the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, featuring several firsts that have entered into the world literature, we are now among the suppliers of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which will become the suspension bridge with biggest central span of the world. In this project, giant concretes prepared in special pools for the foundation of the bridge will be submerged and placed on iron feet. We believe this challenging project, which has already attracted the attention of our industry stakeholders, will also enter into the world literature." Sarıer also stated that they operate with a focus on efficiency and sustainability with renewable energy resources and waste management applications by directing their investments into energy and sustainable environment field.
